ProWare Services, LLC. is a privately held software development and services consulting firm. Located in Central Florida, in the heart of the agricultural industry, ProWare Services specializes in catering to the technology needs of the Fresh Produce, Perishable Foods, Seafood, and Floral industries. Our products and services include an enterprise application for the supply side of the channel and strategic tools for food safety and traceability initiatives.

ProWare's heritage began in 1998 when Franwell, Inc., in Plant City, FL was confronted with the need to create an affordable, flexible and easy to use traceability and operations software package for the perishable foods industry. This package, AgWare™, has since evolved into a commonly used application and installed in produce companies located across the United States.

In the meantime, Franwell, Inc. flourished in creating additional traceability products and soon became one of the world leaders in developing supply chain solutions and RFID integration.

In 2009, recognizing the changing markets and environmental changes affecting the perishable foods industry, the requirements for a solid, easy to manage, and traceability compliant solution became even more apparent. ProWare Services, LLC. was established to specifically grow the AgWare™ product with functionality, and auxiliary services and support. The pillars that were ingrained in our beginnings continue to drive our corporate philosophy today – functionality, flexibility, and affordability.

ProWare's management team has over 40 years of combined experience in the produce and produce technology environments. This experience includes strategic planning, software engineering, direct produce sales, and computer technical support of sales relating to growers, packer/shippers, brokers, and distributors. Our affiliates include major industry players such as BlueStar, Datamax-O’Neil, Dynamic Systems, EmpowerTech, Franwell, Godex, Intelleflex, Microsoft, Moonsystems, Motorola, and Red Wing Software.
